The Wyvern's Nest is an inn located in Port Magalie, The Witchlight Strand. It has a history spanning two decades. It was founded by a halfling woman Tylla Redleaf and she is still very much in charge of the institution. She also lives in the inn herself in the uppermost storey wherein she has a spacious 3-room home.

The Wyvern's Nest might not be the most original of names for such a place. In fact, Captain Morgan's Traveler's Guidebook makes notice of at least three other taverns by the exact same name - and it only tells us the places you don't want to miss while travelling. The place can accomodate 40 people in the main hall easily and has been known to attract close to a hundred people on very busy nights. There may not be seats to every man, but many use the long main bar stand as seating since it's made easy for halflings to serve on. The main hall is otherwise built for average human patrons; only the long bar is of a smaller scale. There are also regular nights of singing and story-telling contests and Tylla usually provides prizes for winners in the manner of beverages and food. Winning is usually determined by cheering and applauds by the other patrons.

The Wyvern's Nest is located right at the heart of Port Magalie - in the central district that joins the port area to the other districts of the buzzing city. The tavern is not only a success among the many ship crews that find themselves spending too much of their hard-earned cash in the city's night life, but also among the residents of the city itself. Tylla's tavern serves above average rations. Not only in quality but also in quantity. The best recipies originate from Tylla herself and two other halflings she has hired in the kitchen.

The inn has had some financial difficulties from time to time, especially when the many merchant ships avoid The Witchlight Strand altogether. Such occasions are now less common than they were few years back because the nearby warring orc and goblin tribes are now kept more firmly away from Port Magalie. The situation in The Witchlight Strand is, however, volatile at best even if the last few years have been good for the city itself.

The Wyvern's Nest has 12 rentable rooms (6 bigger rooms with windows, 1 small windowed room facing the alley and 5 very small rooms with barely anything else than room for a bed, chair and a table) located in the second floor of the 3-story building. The first floor houses a big and tall hall and a kitchen big enough to house 3 cooks simultaneously. The inn didn't originally have stables attached to it and thus travelers seeking to rent a room in the inn must house their horses elsewhere. This is not a problem, however, since The Wyvern's Nest has a permanent deal with a local stable-owner Persifone Altius whose stables are located only 80 yards away from the good inn. Although the stable-owner is in theory independent, 80% of his income comes from patrons renting lodgings in the inn.
